Worlds collided in Blacksburg, where we had a large dose of #BleedingMe with a side of #MetallicaMarchingBand action. @spiritoftech kicked off the American Red Cross x Metallica Blood Drive the only way you can when at @virginia.tech: with some heavy entrance music. The #M72VirginiaTech drive collected an incredible 206 donations, including 84 first-time donors! 🤘 Who will we see at the #M72Philly drive later this month? On this special #TourGrantThursday edition of what's usually #TourGrantTuesday, we’re highlighting two awesome organizations in Blacksburg that we were able to support with funds raised by #M72VirginiaTech ticket sales: @feedingswva and New River Family Shelter. Special thanks to our #MetallicaFamily volunteers who donated their time for a shift at Feeding Southwest Virginia and packed 4,700 lbs. of boxes and provided 3,700 meals to the local community. Additional thanks to our longtime partners at @carhartt, who supported Feeding Southwest Virginia with a $25K donation and provided exclusive #M72 x #AWMH beanies for our volunteers!
