Right now, 200 million acres of U.S. farmland are used for industrial grain production. Farmers spend up to $400 per acre on chemical inputs—totaling a staggering $80 billion every year—money that doesn’t stay in the U.S.
Instead, it goes straight to agrochemical giants like Monsanto (now owned by Germany’s Bayer) and Syngenta (owned by China).
