Correct me if lm wrong, as it stands now the Heat have filled out the max 15 roster spots and are 6 million under the luxury tax. The Heat have available options with the non-taxpayer mid-level exception (worth $14.1 million) and the taxpayer mid-level exception (worth $5.7 million) being the most relevant. The Heat can also utilize the bi-annual exception, which is worth $5.1 million. The choice depends on whether they want to stay under the luxury tax line and avoid a hard cap.
