Luchamos hasta el final y lo dejamos todo dentro del campo. Nos vamos orgullosos y con la conciencia tranquila de haber defendido este escudo como se debe. Después son detalles y así es el fútbol. No se pierde, se aprende. A título personal, jodido pero satisfecho con lo que pude aportar al equipo. Más triste, porque quizás sea mi última aparición en un Mundial, pero bueno… El fútbol es tan caprichoso y bonito que nunca se sabe. Sigamos mirando al frente, a por el siguiente reto. Gracias a todos y todas por el cariño, la fe, el apoyo y la confianza. We fought to the end, and we left everything on the pitch. We leave here proud; we know that we defended this badge as we should. After that, it’s about small details and that’s football. You never lose; you learn. On a personal level, I’m sore but satisfied with how I was able to contribute to the team. And also sad because this was perhaps my last appearance at a World Cup… but that’s life.
