Exactly. The league is United’s bread & butter, how can you instil that in a group of players when you’re writing games off against Wolves in particular, made no sense to rest. It sets a bad ‘pick & choose’ precedent. Amorim talks a lot about the focus being to win the Premiership, then start as you mean to go on, create that culture now, instead of thinking you can switch it on & off when you like.

Wazza my favorite player of all time but I wholeheartedly disagree. Players weren’t playing the hectic schedule they are when you played early in your career. Now these players are getting injured week in week out we can’t afford to player the strongest team in the Premier League we gotta preserve them for what can impact not only lifting a trophy but the massive financial gain if we win the Europa and get to the champions league

I’m a ManUnited fan and I think we need to reset our first ambition, (as in next 2seasons). We need players who are going to improve the team, but we still might not be the finished article, so we bring in players who make us better but then they get replaced later down the line in the starting 11 by even better players. In the next 2years aim for the top 4, but happy with top 6. Then once we are there abouts then aim for winning the league. It’s a strange mindset because United have been so lucky for so long under Fergie that players were top players and they stuck around. But they need some “transitional” players
