Stone Island partnered with END. and THE FACE to host Due North, a one-off party in Manchester celebrating 20 years of END. Tahir Karmali is showing his work at Frieze New York with Management in ‘Focus’ – supported by Stone Island. Born in Nairobi and based in Brooklyn, Karmali explores migration, landscape/geology, labor, and belonging through photography, installation, papermaking, sculpture, and sound. His practice blends material experimentation with conceptual depth, drawing on both personal history and global systems. “It’s studio, then boxing,” says Karmali, who trains daily at @outboxnyc.
