対馬のしいたけ名人と思い出の3日間🤍 Shiitake Master of Tsushima🍄🟫 長崎県の対馬に、だいすきなじゅんこさんとゼンさんに会いに行ったよ~♪ そこで出逢った椎茸名人の永尾さん🤍 自然栽培のしいたけを育て始めてもう50年の永尾さん❕ 数々のしいたけ賞も🏆頂いていて、そんな永尾さんにいろいろと質問をしたら素敵な言葉が返ってきたよ❕ 『椎茸は自然の産物でしょ。人間がいろいろ手を加えなくても自分の力で立派に成長する事ができるんだよ❕原木椎茸は農薬も肥料も必要としない安全な食べ物なんだ❕僕がこのお仕事をしていて楽しいのは、花どんこ（花のような模様の椎茸）を見つけた時❕花どんこはめったにみつけられるものじゃないんだ❕思い通りにならない事がまた面白い。まるで人間の生きる姿と一緒じゃない❔ こうして皆さんに出会えるのも椎茸がもつパワー。これができるのも椎茸のおかげ。感謝しかないよ🍄🟫』 とゆってくれたよ^o^ そんな健一さんは、みんなにコーヒーを作ってくれたんだけど、緑の豆を煎る所から作っていて、ほんっとうに美味しかったんだぁ。朝起きた時の1番の楽しみなんだって🤍 じゅんこさん♪素敵な出逢いを繋げてくれてありがとう☕️ Memories with the Shiitake Master of Tsushima I traveled to Tsushima Island in Nagasaki Prefecture to visit my dear friends Junko-san and Zen-san. There, I had the honor of meeting Mr. Nagao, a true master of shiitake mushrooms. He’s been growing naturally cultivated shiitake for over 50 years and has won numerous awards for his incredible mushrooms! When I asked him a few questions, he shared such beautiful words with me: “Shiitake are a gift from nature. They don’t need humans to interfere too much—they grow strong all on their own. Log-grown shiitake don’t need pesticides or fertilizers, which makes them one of the safest foods you can eat. What brings me joy in this work is finding a hana-donko—shiitake with flower-like patterns. They’re rare, you know? And the fact that things don’t always go as planned makes it all the more interesting. It’s just like life, isn’t it? The fact that I get to meet people like you through shiitake—that’s all thanks to the mushrooms. I’m just full of gratitude for them.” Isn’t that wonderful? Later, Kenichi-san made coffee for everyone, starting from roasting green beans by hand. It was seriously one of the best cups I’ve ever had. He told me it’s his favorite moment in the morning—something he really looks forward to. Junko-san, thank you for connecting me with such beautiful souls🤍
