“Developers need to find new jobs” that’s not how this works. Yes Developing is a lot of coding, but in a workplace it is VERY industry specific and has to go along with every single regulation the company works under. AI cannot even come close to shouldering the full responsibility of a developer, even though it can code. There is way more to being a developer than coding. Also, having AI that can perform as many tasks as a single developer would cost way more than just having a developer, because you’d have to also have someone constantly monitoring and updating the AI developer. You guys forget that openAI hasn’t even turned a profit yet.
