石川県の旅🤍 今回は金沢にいつもお世話になってる方へのご挨拶と共に、昨年発生した能登半島地震の被災地に近い地域を訪れて現地の方々に今の状況をお聞きしたり、その中で頑張っているお店などを訪れたりをしたよ❕ 私が今回訪れた和倉温泉の町は街全体は今は1割ぐらいしか復帰できていない状態で、約22件あった宿泊できる施設が4〜5件修復する事ができたけれどその他の建物は一度解体して建て直す必要があったりと約3年以上はかかるかもしれないと老舗旅館「多田屋」の多田さんとお寿司屋『のぶ寿司』の堀内さんが教えてくれたよ。 多田さんは、復旧（壊れたものを元に戻す）ではなく、復興（元の状態に戻す＋さらに地域や暮らしを立て直していくこと）の考えを大切にしたい❕とゆっていて、目から明るい希望を感じたよ☺️　そして、のぶ寿司で食べるお魚さん達はとっても美味しくて新鮮で石川県の海で獲れるカワハギの肝醤油やホタルイカの酢味噌などをだしてくれたんだけどお兄ちゃんと一緒にすっご〜〜く美味しい〜❕って感動しちゃったよ❕ 堀内さんの深いお魚知識のお話も楽しかった🐟 和倉温泉では高澤ろうそくさんや七尾の鳥居醤油店にも訪れたよ❕そして石川県の伝統文化も経験したいなと思って水引細工と香道＋お香袋作りも体験させていただいたよ。 初めての水引き…💭水引きは言葉に表せない気持ちを形にして表したり、人と人との縁を結ぶ深い意味などもあるみたいでその意味達を知ると更に感動を覚えていったよ🤍 また訪れに行きます🌱 This time, I visited Ishikawa to greet someone I’m always grateful to in Kanazawa. Alongside that, I also went to areas near the disaster zone of last year’s Noto Peninsula earthquake to learn about the current situation directly from local residents, and to visit and support the shops and people working hard through the recovery❕ The town I visited, Wakura Onsen, is currently only about 10% restored. Out of the 22 inns that used to operate there, only 4 or 5 have managed to reopen. The rest require complete demolition and rebuilding, and I was told it may take more than three years for full recovery. This is what Mr. Tada from the historic inn Tadaya, and Mr. Horiuchi from the sushi restaurant Nobu Sushi, kindly shared with me. Tada said he wants to focus not just on “recovery” (restoring what was lost), but on true “reconstruction” (rebuilding the entire community and way of life), and there was a bright sense of hope shining in his eyes❕ It really moved me. And at Nobu Sushi,We had things like local kawahagi with liver soy sauce and firefly squid with vinegared miso – my brother and I couldn’t stop saying how delicious everything was❕I also visited Takazawa Candles and a soy sauce brewery in Nanao. Wanting to experience Ishikawa’s traditional culture more deeply, I took part in a mizuhiki and also tried kōdō. I learning that it’s a way to express feelings that are hard to put into words, or to represent the deep connections between people, really touched my heart. The more I learned about its meaning, the more moved I became 🤍
