We would never have imagined to have the life we do, we feel so unbelievably blessed to look out at the horizon in front of us and reflect upon the work, struggle and miracles that have taken place to get us here. We’re so thankful to @satelliteisland for being a place of reflection for us, and such an astounding one too. The magic of place. @ellemaywatson and I had one of the most incredible honours to stay on this breathtaking island: @satelliteisland. Richly packed with an abundance of things to do, we found ourselves most excited to just rest. Sharing a cup of coffee in a rowboat is a funny feat but enjoyable, and what a sunset we were graced with! Elle and I are in this incredible, challenging, beautiful learning stage of our life where we are seeing firsthand just how important it is to make time to discover our own way of being, for one another, for our children, for our business. It’s a balance that takes some tightrope walking! And so getting to spend a few short blissful days in one of the most stunning southern parts of the world was rewarding beyond words. Thank you to @satelliteisland for having us, and for the beauty and hard work so clearly put into your space. And a thank you to all of you here who support us making photos and videos to share with the world. Happy late Valentine’s Day everyone :) I still think about this moment.. I was people watching at a hostel, in an empty breakfast lobby. I was probably on my 2nd black coffee dipping squares of a freshly opened bar of chocolate - in shock of what was behind the panoramic window. Light bouncing in all directions off of tiny villages and snow capped peaks. It was my first time seeing where we were staying in the daylight. And there’s something so beautiful about not knowing what your accomodation looks like because you arrive in the dark so when you wake up it’s surreal like your reality is kind of blending into your dream from last night, and your new to the culture and just overall vibe - Anyway these photographs are powerful to me because they speak of love in so many ways. And I’ll never know who these beautiful peoppe are, but I’m grateful they walked across the window when they did ♥️ #photography #art #portrait #film #mood #love #inlove

Finally motivated me to turn our beautiful year into an analog book :) This is something I had longed to do but procrastinated.. Truly, the thought of just going through all of our photos overwhelmed me.. although photo albums were always a favourite part about visiting relatives, Just sitting on the floor and getting glimpses of the decades past.. so this is a little collaboration with @onceuponapp to show how easy and rewarding it was / IS to do this. Once a table cloth now a (pretty wonky) but still pretty dress :) This is a kind of a ‘turning one of many Pinterest moods into physical form’.. we have had so many beautiful sunsets / dusk hours lately, and mostly I’m trying to get my head around a pattern when the apricot light pours into the house, so I’m trying a little harder to get out amongst the dusk again like I once always did.
