Hummingbirds are known as “flying Jewels” and I can totally see why.
Roughly 328 species of hummingbirds exist worldwide, and the small country of Ecuador has 130 of them.
These photos are mostly of the Violet-Tailed Sylph, the Velvet-Purple Coronet, and the Green Thorntail (any birders- please correct me if I’m wrong).
They move so insanely fast, it took me ages to finally get a few shots of these beautiful little birds.
