When the background’s a Monet but the stare’s all business 🦌 . Shot by @quan.vu.photography #MadeWithLightroom "These photos were captured in Nara, Japan during cherry blossom season. I was drawn to the calm, almost regal expression of the deer in the center, surrounded by soft pink blossoms and the blurred motion of the herd. I wanted the viewer to feel that sense of stillness and quiet connection. I always shoot in RAW, and Lightroom is where an image begins to take shape. Here, I used selective masking to bring out the subject and to subtly blur and soften the background, helping to guide the viewer’s eye toward the central deer. Masks allowed me to balance light and color with precision and create depth without losing the natural atmosphere."
