Exploring Ljubljana, Slovenia 🇸🇮 It rained a lot, so we had to adjust our plans a bit, but overall Ljubljana was a lot of fun. Like most of European cities we’ve visited, it was very dog-friendly. 10/10 would recommend Salzburg, Austria 🇦🇹 It feels like a fairytale city. The old town is super walkable, less crowded than other European cities we’ve visited, incredibly family/dog-friendly, and packed with history. If you visit, look for Emma and Ellie’s love lock! A few fun facts: 1. “Salzburg” means Salt Castle, thanks to its salt trade history. 2. The Sound of Music was filmed all around the city. 3. Mozart was born here (yellow house in our pictures) 4. We don’t often return to the same place twice, because there is so much of the world to see. But Prague pulled us back in. There’s just something about this city. It’s beautiful, there is a rich history, dogs and kids are so welcome and it’s affordable. Coming back as a family of five this time makes it even more special. Grateful for this place and all the memories.
