Six years ago, we took a trip to Arkansas with a big dream—to pitch Love, Nala to Walmart. We visited the Walmart Museum, where we learned about the Walton family’s humble beginnings and their mission: to help people save money so they can live better. That message resonated with us because, at Love, Nala, we believe that every cat deserves high-quality, nutritious food at an affordable price.
When we pitched to Walmart, they listened, gave us feedback, and asked us to come back in the future. Instead of seeing it as a setback, we took it as an opportunity to grow. Pookie and I went home, implemented their advice, and kept pushing forward. We didn’t quit.
And now, six years later, Love, Nala is sitting on select Walmart shelves. This journey reinforced an important lesson: never give up, keep learning, focus on what truly matters, and trust the process.
But none of this would have been possible without you—our incredible community. Your support, trust, and love for your cats have fueled us every step of the way. We still have more work to do and many more kitties to help, but today, we just want to say thank you.
