He’s traumatized from his home, but I’m traumatized from my first home, so we get on like peas in a pod. Two months after I got him, I left my ex-wife. I was like, you can abuse me, but you can’t abuse the dog. And I agreed to protect him, so I left in the middle of the night. And we’ve been on so many adventures since. Living in the city afterwards and traveling the country together, hopping freight trains. I call him my primary partner.”
