All around the world it’s the same story. The algorithm isn’t broken, it’s just not meant for us anymore! From image compression to engagement metrics, everything online seems to pull us away from what we love most — the photograph itself! What do you think though? I want to hear your opinions too. Something is coming…stay tuned for part 2.

Totally agree and made me curious about what you have to tell us in 2nd round 👏❤️

Absolutely. It should always come back to our “why.” For me, street photography is a form of meditation and therapy—I completely lose myself in it, and I absolutely love that. Whether I share the work or not is secondary. Reactions online shouldn’t define our talent or influence our desire to keep doing what we love. In the end, it’s all about the “why,” and that answer is deeply personal to each of us.

I’m waiting for part 2 😍 Sometimes I feel like giving up on Ig. I take photos for myself, because I love it…. But I also want to share my work with other people 🤷♀️….. vicious circle

By my side, photography is my space of freedom. I love wandering the streets with my camera, letting the city speak through light and shadow. I chase the light, not to trap it, but to follow it into stories. Because an image should never be consumed like a low-grade product. It carries emotion, it speaks. But only if we’re willing to take time and listen. This is where the revolution begins, in how we look, how we care, how we connect.

Absolutely, Alan! Photography has long needed a place where all who share this passion can come together—a place that truly honors every aspect of it.
