The greatest gift of all. At 2:33 AM this morning, we welcomed our third child into the world—a beautiful baby girl. 8lbs, 20.5 inches of pure wonder. Strong, perfect, and already so loved. Mama is doing amazing. Baby is doing amazing. And I’m just in awe. No matter how many times you go through this, it never stops feeling like a miracle. She came into the world in the quiet of the night, but I know she will make noise. She will change the world. She will be a force for conservation, for nature, for something bigger than all of us. Her tiny fingers wrapped around mine, and I could already feel it—her strength, her spirit. The wild places I love will be hers to explore. The stories I tell will be hers to carry forward. The fight to protect this planet will one day be hers to take on, in her own way. But for now, she rests. And we soak in every perfect moment. Welcome to the world, little one. You are already so deeply loved.
