We took Teddy in for an ultrasound a couple weeks ago—not because anything seemed wrong, but because we believe in being proactive, not reactive, with our dogs’ health. Teddy is my heart dog, my soul dog. While we were waiting on results I looked at him and said I will sell everything I own and do whatever I can to help you through this, and I meant it lol. His results were sent out for deeper testing, and we just got the update: no evidence of cancer. The mass on his spleen is likely nothing serious, possibly just some normal tissue change, and we’re simply keeping an eye on it moving forward. We made this video to encourage other pet parents to stay ahead of the curve. Don’t wait until something’s wrong, especially as your dog gets older, checkups and scans can catch things early or give you peace of mind.
