Dengan penuh rasa duka cita diinfokan bahwa RAG (57), wisatawan asal Malaysia, telah ditemukan meninggal dunia setelah terjatuh di jalur Banyu Urip. Tim evakuasi berhasil mengangkat jenazah korban dari jurang sedalam 80 meter pada pukul 10.30 WITA, hari ini, 4 Mei 2025. Jenazah saat ini dalam perjalanan menuju pintu masuk wisata pendakian Torean sebelum dibawa ke RS Bhayangkara Mataram untuk proses pemulasaraan. Insiden terjadi pada pukul 11.00 WITA, Sabtu, 3 Mei 2025, ketika rombongan berhenti di sumber mata air Banyu Urip. Korban melanjutkan perjalanan sendiri, dan ketika berusaha membantu, ketua rombongan gagal meyakinkan korban untuk menjaga pegangan. Akibatnya, korban kehilangan keseimbangan dan terjatuh ke sisi kanan jalur pendakian. Kami mengucapkan belasungkawa yang mendalam kepada keluarga dan kerabat korban.
