I’m glad you stuck around. This feels so recognizable: my parents frowning and non stop dropping the “when are you gonna get a real job?!?” question. Basically living on nothing for the first few years and struggling to afford any decent equipment. People forget it takes a lot of determination and love for photography to make it work.
