If you’ve ever had a dog suffer from a seizure, you know the feeling of helplessness that often accompanies it. The cause of his seizures remains unknown, but they can be managed with proper treatment. Fiyero needs further testing, neurology visits, and lifelong medication to live a safe, comfortable life. Ran to donate - I’ve had this experience and it’s so hard to watch, you just want to take the pain or fear away from them. This pup deserves an amazing life!! I’m going to call him FT, because he’s freaking terrific (and I can’t spell) ❤️

Having a dog who had seizures since he was 5 months old I know it’s disheartening seeing them like that. My dog was diagnosed with CESC or Paroximal Dyskinesia. He had seizures every 2 weeks when he was little but we spaced them out to 3-6 months after changing the diet to a grain free natural diet similar to the Farmers Dog (but in Spain). Fortunately his seizures don’t need meds and don’t cause any brain damage but he gets really scared (and we too). All my love to Fiyero, hope he gets the treatment he needs 🤍

Just a heads up—some flea + tick meds, even the all-natural, herbal ones, can still trigger seizures in sensitive pups. Our girl Pippa had three before we realized it was the meds. Every dog’s different, so definitely worth keeping an eye out. Hope Fiyero finds the help he needs ❤️ sending love your way!

My dog is epileptic. The first time my mom witnessed a seizure was terrifying, and then when I saw the first one I broke down. They didn't look like what we think of as seizures. I'm so glad this pup will get the care he needs 🧡
