New York Times Travel
Popular for its desert climate, deep-sea fishing and beach-party vibe, Los Cabos, Mexico, at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, has long attracted well-heeled visitors to its acclaimed golf courses and resorts like Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort. Visitors to the city will also find restaurants newly recommended by the Michelin guide, including the area’s first one-star recipient, Cocina de Autor. aquí vamos una vez más, páginas que solo recomiendan lugares que para nada representan la esencia del lugar y que en vez de hacer un bien, encarecen aún más la calidad de vida de la gente local, abarrotando las calles que algún día los vieron crecer con turistas sin ninguna intención de preservar la identidad más que explotarla a su mero antojo

Responsible journalism would touch upon that region being one of the most dangerous in Mexico and a Narco stronghold. It's the only way things could possibly change is for seeing it for what it is.

San Jose Del Cabo is wonderful. Tamarindos and Acre are incredible restaurants.
