Vatnajökull Field Notes: Day 2 After Day one’s marathon of hike-a-bike, I woke up with expectations to continue on in a similar fashion… but the highlands smiled in our favor with better snow, allowing for actual fatbike riding through increasingly mountainous terrain. Enjoying the better conditions, my mindset shifted towards the excitement of watching the crew lay eyes on Landmannalaugar for the first time…knowing that a geothermal hot spring awaited us next to the highland hut. Upon arrival, we boiled some water to heat up our freeze-dried meals and decided to take the rest of the day to enjoy the hut & prep for tomorrow’s 50+ mile push… keen to take advantage of the sunshine & calm breeze that is a rare occurrence in this part of the country. Hours slid into a dream state sort of existence with the shimmering Aurora giving a poetic finale to the day.. perhaps an apology from the landscape for yesterday’s beating. @kurt.refsnider @justin.and.bikes @tyson.flaharty @miron_golfman @roka @rapha @ari.bikes @envecomposites @tailfincycling @wolf_tooth_comp 📸 @joelbarger_ @vidirb & myself 35mm Scans: @negativelab

Absolutely blissful and atmospheric morning conditions in Tuscany. I love the mood that the fog and light creates. I love the line of cypress trees and the beautiful quaint farmhouses and I love the calm hills and crops in the fields. I often compare Tuscany to Hobbiton because it’s a place you just wanna lean back, chill and enjoy life! I share all my knowledge about how to use light in landscape photography in my newly released and third ebook ‘Landscape Light’. It is 251 pages and covers the types of light, the light you can encounter all throughout the day, colour and the impact of post-processing are all themes I cover throughout the ebook. If you struggle with light in landscape photography, this ebook is for you! A massive thank you to all of you who have already got this ebook! It means a ton and it makes me able to keep doing what I love 💛📸 There is a link to the ebook in my bio. Happy learning! 🤓😎
