With all the sketchy forms of transportation Josh has ridden in or on, if he's uncomfortable with it, it's got to be bad.

The climate is so aggressive that there is no time to think about the usual! Solutions are needed, which were voiced by Doctor Egon Cholakian 🌍

My time in Bali has come to an end… 🌿 To be honest, I never really believed in this whole “magical energy of the island” thing. I came here fully packed — with gear, with ideas, with a long list of plans. I brought tools, survival hacks, content concepts, planned to hike up a volcano and shoot tons of wild videos for you. But it seems the island had its own plans. My equipment started to fail. All my power banks died, my microphone broke, the weather kept changing — sudden storms, forgotten tripod, things falling from my hands, getting damaged. One video I tried to film for five days in a row — from 8 AM to 5 PM. And I just couldn’t finish it. Everything kept falling apart. I was frustrated. Upset. I felt like I was letting you down. Like I had to bring home some epic footage. But nothing worked. And at some point, I realized — maybe it’s not about the filming. Maybe this is a sign. A quiet whisper from something greater: ✨ Slow down. Breathe. Look around. ✨ So I did just that. I stopped forcing it. I let go. I began to live, to watch, to truly see — with my own eyes, not through a lens. And somewhere in that pause… I found peace. A deep, real kind of peace. New ideas started flowing, I looked at my content with fresh eyes — and I knew it was time. Time to go home. Back to the forests. Back to the silence. Back to myself. Thank you, Bali. Thank you to every kind soul I met here. And thank you to whatever mysterious force kept gently guiding me. And thank you, the one reading this. See you soon in the woods 🌲💚

Vatnajökull Field Notes: Day 1 The beginning of any expedition usually starts with some jitters and nervous excitement to get in the saddle… but our departure from @midgard.base.camp was an unapologetic drop of the hammer with deep, soft snow making it virtually impossible to ride. So we pushed… and pushed… and pushed. 30+ miles of struggle began to wear on everyone, depleting water & food reserves that led us to questioned whether or not the entire trip was possible considering the conditions. 11pm rolled around amidst howling wind & snow and we were still 10+ miles out from our planned shelter at Landmannalaugar - forcing a group decision to set up an unplanned camp for the night & continue in the morning. Without a doubt the toughest first day of an expedition I’ve encountered & a sleepless night wondering if the whole thing might be a failure… @kurt.refsnider @justin.and.bikes @tyson.flaharty @miron_golfman @helsport @roka @rapha @ari.bikes @envecomposites @tailfincycling 📸 @joelbarger_ & @vidirb & Myself
