The Dogist
I’m back with another episode of Dogspotting, featuring pet enthusiast, @brycedhoward! Bryce and I hit the streets to find dogs to photograph, and to spread the word about a new documentary she directed called Pets. Bryce grew up around numerous dogs and other animals, and it’s safe to say they’ve shaped her to be the person she is now. We connected on the unconditional love we receive from dogs, and the undeniable way they change our lives. I also had to sneak a Pup Quiz in there for Bryce, and she did not disappoint! Head to the link in my bio to watch the full clip, and make sure to watch Pets, out now on Disney+! #dogspotting #thisdogwillchangeyourlife Director: @alec_cohen

You never forget your first lion. But watching your 7-year-old see theirs? That’s a whole different kind of magic. Today I watched my son spot his very first wild lion — not in a book, not behind glass, but right here, in the wild. A huge male, walking straight toward us, calm, powerful, and utterly majestic. His face shifted from excitement to awe, and for a moment, the world stood still. After years of guiding and photographing wildlife, I thought I understood wonder. But seeing it reflected in his eyes? It felt like I was experiencing it all over again — for the very first time. This is why we wander. This is why we return. To remember that the world is still wild. To feel small, humble, and part of something bigger. And to pass that wonder on, one moment, one encounter, one lion at a time. @kapotocamp #lionking #safariadventure #wildlifemoments #familytravel #raisingwildkids #wildlifelovers #lionlove #bigcats #natgeowild #wildlifepics #safarilife #familytravelmemories #animalencounters #lionsofinstagram #wildlifepassion #naturephotography #africansafari #travelwithkids #explorethewild #adventurefamily
