Space is dusty! Especially this part of the Large Magellanic Cloud, which is located about 160,000 light-years away. This is the Tarantula Nebula. It's one of the most productive star-forming regions in the nearby universe, and home to the most massive stars known. It holds several dark clumps of dust, but not the sort that might be in your house. Cosmic dust is often made up of carbon or of molecules called silicates, which contain silicon and oxygen. Dust plays many important roles in our universe. Dust grains in disks around young stars clump together to form larger grains, and eventually entire planets! Dust also helps cool clouds of gas so that they can condense into new stars. @nasahubble Do you believe 100% that there was no space-time before the Big Bang? Personally, I don't. If space-time did exist in a previous universe, is it possible that cosmic evolution like the formation of stars or galaxies also took place back then? This question keeps me awake at night Please help clear my doubts and thoughts on this ??

Finding my very own Palouse landscapes in Denmark! 😁 Back in the days I always felt that Denmark was boring to photograph because of all the fields. Now I embrace them! When I learned how to approach them and get good photographs in these types of landscapes it suddenly went from something that held me back to a feature! One technique is to benefit from dappled light. Something I talk much more about in my ebook all about light in landscape photography (get it via the link in my bio). Dappled light is just incredible as it literally paints the landscapes with light and adds both depth and dimension!
