Had the longest birthday ever on my JAL flight from HND to JFK! We took off in the morning from Tokyo and landed in New York the same morning, thanks to the magic of time zones. ✈️🇯🇵😁 And, despite the long travel day, flying in JAL Business Class made it feel effortless. JAL’s new Business Class cabin on their A350-1000 is a major upgrade in their long-haul experience. It features a redesigned cabin with private and spacious suites that come with sliding privacy doors, massive 24-inch 4K screens, wireless charging, and in-seat speakers so you never really have to put headphones on 😌 Service was excellent. JAL is known for their hospitality, and the crew made sure every detail was perfect, including a few little birthday surprises. The meal service featured a beautifully presented kaiseki-style Japanese menu option, with highlights like fresh grilled salmon, Wagyu beef, and delicate seasonal appetizers 😋 If you prefer Western cuisine, there’s an equally impressive menu with gourmet options curated by top chefs. This was easily one of the best transpacific flights I’ve ever taken, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate my birthday in the skies. JAL is expanding its A350-1000 service to Paris in the spring and LA later this year! Have you flown JAL before? Would you try their new business class on the A350-1000? #FlyJAL #JapanAirlines #JALBusinessClass #JALpartner PR

BEAUTIFUL DESTINATIONS

Wow. It’s finally happening :) Over ten years ago, when we started our Instagram account, there was no such thing as a “creator”, social media was early and the travel industry for many years after did not take me or BD seriously. Now, thanks to all of you, that’s very different. Tens of millions of people globally follow our channels (I still find this so crazy!) hundreds of creators build exciting careers with us- doing what they love & expressing themselves whilst traveling, and the travel industry is partnering with us in a massive way. Beautiful Destinations has become a fantastic business, profitable and growing fast, leading content innovation and marketing in our industry. We’re very proud of that. But we’re just getting started :) With our partners @visit.dubai we are building something truly special, the world’s first creator training program in partnership with an official Tourism board, ‘The Beautiful Destinations Academy, Powered by Dubai’ and we’d love you to be involved. Do you have the skills or interest to be a mentor at the BD Academy? (we move you to Dubai and pay you!) Do you have friends who could apply to be part of the program? Do you have ideas for how we could get the word out more? Or ideas about anything else? I’m all ears! We want to raise the game again in travel so please get in touch if you’d like to join us. Thanks J #BDAcademy #VisitDubai #MyDubai

Video by Reuben Wu @reuben | Having spent decades perfecting my craft and developing a visual language I'm proud of, I find it ironic that my most popular creation is simply an iPhone video capturing my feet walking up a sand dune in Utah's Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. I’ve never had so many people ask me what boots I’m wearing. Even after the video has had tens of millions of views, I don't fully understand its appeal, but what's become clear to me is how incredibly beautiful the most innocuous moments on Earth can be.

Bunions have plagued human toes since ancient times. The foot deformity may affect up to a quarter of the modern adult population. But why do we get them in the first place—and why haven't we figured out how they're caused or cured without surgery?
