A collection of danish lighthouses I’ve photographed over the years (a few repeats). I’m soon to add another to the collection, one you’ve probably never seen before. I’m currently at sea sailing to the island where it’s located. Can’t wait to photograph it and find many different compositions. Leading lines, reflections, perspective compression and so on are all composition techniques I use in my photography. If you struggle with composition be sure to get my ebook on exactly that topic. With minimal text and tons of examples it’s easy to read. There is a link in my bio if you want it. Happy learning 🤓

These are all so beautiful and make me feel like I'm there! Lighthouses are magical. One of my first canvas prints was of a lighthouse I captured during the blue hour.

Finding my very own Palouse landscapes in Denmark! 😁 Back in the days I always felt that Denmark was boring to photograph because of all the fields. Now I embrace them! When I learned how to approach them and get good photographs in these types of landscapes it suddenly went from something that held me back to a feature! One technique is to benefit from dappled light. Something I talk much more about in my ebook all about light in landscape photography (get it via the link in my bio). Dappled light is just incredible as it literally paints the landscapes with light and adds both depth and dimension!
