A growing debate in the travel world is whether airlines should charge more for passengers who don’t fit in a standard seat. Some carriers already ask for an extra seat to be purchased, while others, like Southwest, offer it for free with possible refunds. It’s raising big questions about fairness, comfort, and inclusivity in the skies. What do you think—should size affect ticket price? 💺🤔

@lesleyannemurphy “the Drake Passage is the body of water between the tip of Argentina and Antarctica. It’s infamous for its extremely rough seas. If you’re lucky, you get the Drake Lake. If you’re like us, you get the Drake Shake with 35 ft waves”

In The Last of Us, unfortunate victims who are controlled by the Cordyceps fungus are connected by underground fungal tendrils, also known as a mycelial network. Mycelial networks are real but rather than controlling infected hosts, these fungal superhighways transport nutrients back and forth and offer benefits to the plants they are connected to. Now, we can actually see the movement of resources through these efficient, symbiotic networks. Learn more about fungal networks at the link in bio. For over 200,000 years, dire wolves roamed across North America. The ancient animals were megafauna hunters, ultimately disappearing about 13,000 years ago. Yet last week, the company Colossal Biosciences claimed to have resurrected dire wolves by giving modern gray wolves DNA extracted from dire wolf fossils. The resulting trio, named Romulus, Remus, and Khaleesi, has taken the internet by storm. So are dire wolves actually back? Head to the link in bio to see how the “de-extinct” pups compare to the real thing. Photographs by Colossal
