We've all had less-than-flattering photos taken of us, and the blobfish is no exception. The now-famous image of Mr. Blobby, a blobfish that went viral years ago, shows a sad-looking creature that looked like it was melting—but that’s not what they actually look like in their natural habitat. Deep underwater, where blobfish normally live, they have large heads and tapered bodies, almost like tadpoles. It’s only when they’re brought to the surface that their bodies change drastically due to the pressure difference, often appearing melted or misshapen. See what blobfish really look like at the link in bio. Photograph by Kerryn Parkinson/NORFANZ/Caters News via ZUMA Press

Photo by @joelsartore | Red-flanked duikers like this one at the Los Angeles Zoo are one of the smallest species of antelope, measuring in at just up to 15 inches tall and weighing no more than 31 pounds. Aside from their small size, this species can be identified by the large preorbital glands on their snout, which form bulges in their cheeks. Explore more than 120 photographs of the youngest animals across the animal kingdom in my new book, Photo Ark Babies, at the link in bio. Photo taken at @lazoo. #PhotoArk

Welcome to Love Valley 👀💛 The most peculiar and suggestive landscape to explore in Cappadocia. Mother Nature was clearly feeling spicy and trying to set the mood when she made this place. A playful mix of magic, mystery and mischief 😂… just the way I like my adventures! 📍 Located near the town of Göreme, this surreal scenic area is quite blessed with its famous ancient rock formations that tower over visitors and make everyone question their maturity levels. These unique natural pillars are millions of years old and are still standing proud… Talk about endurance goals! 💪🏼 Photos taken on a fun hike with @collin_fpv last November during our trip to Türkiye. It was such a treat being there in the fall season when the trees were turning yellow! ✨ What comes to mind when you see these rock towers? #travelphotography #goturkiye #bucketlisttravel #naturalwonders #lovevalleycappadocia #lovevalley #cappadociaturkey #cappadociaadventure

So excited to explore NYC! 🏙️ Make sure you tune in to the @Subaru_USA livestream on April 16 at 11:50 am EDT… it’s a VERY exciting announcement 👀 #sponsored  I’ve used this trip planning & packing method for years now and it never fails me. I love just being able to wake up each day, open the note on my phone and know exactly where I’m going and what I am wearing. This is especially helpful when I’m jet lagged or tired! Let me know if you give it a try ✈️🧳 #subaru #packingtips #packinghacks #newyorkautoshow #nycpacking #tripplanning

One photo from a landscape photography travel destination followed by one photo from Denmark my home country. Once it clicked and I figured I could probably get something along the same lines as what I’ve captured out there in world, whether it’s the same conditions, same subject, same technique or same composition, it became soooo much more fun to shoot at home. It really did change my photography forever! No we still don’t have mountains, epic waterfalls, cracking glaciers, puffins, whales and big deserts, but we have so many other things. Check out my latest video on YouTube where I teach you to photograph locally. AND if you want to dig even further into local landscape photography be sure to get me and @nigel.danson course on Mastering Local Landscape Photography. In this 4+ hour and 13 video course we’ll be teaching you how to find great locations, how to use them optimally, what strategies to use to optimise your chance of getting great photos, what to do on location, how to compose, edit and print what you capture, what apps to use and much more! This ENTIRE course can be yours for only $99! Check it out via the link in my bio 🤓
