We've all had less-than-flattering photos taken of us, and the blobfish is no exception. The now-famous image of Mr. Blobby, a blobfish that went viral years ago, shows a sad-looking creature that looked like it was melting—but that’s not what they actually look like in their natural habitat. Deep underwater, where blobfish normally live, they have large heads and tapered bodies, almost like tadpoles. It’s only when they’re brought to the surface that their bodies change drastically due to the pressure difference, often appearing melted or misshapen. The absolutely epic Reynisdrangar sea stacks in Iceland. Probably my favourite sea stacks I’ve ever photographed. This collection is all taken from the Vik side during winter. Whether stormy, calm, moody or backlit (as it is during winter) they look sooooo good! I share all my knowledge about how to use light in landscape photography in my newly released and third ebook ‘Landscape Light’. It is 251 pages and covers the types of light, the light you can encounter all throughout the day, colour and the impact of post-processing are all themes I cover throughout the ebook. If you struggle with light in landscape photography, this ebook is for you! There is a link in my bio, happy learning 🤓
