National Geographic

Photo by @Mitty | Beneath the icy surface of Norway’s northern fjords, a mother orca swims in perfect rhythm with her calf. Their silhouettes move as one: graceful, powerful, inseparable. In the hush of the deep, communication flows through clicks and whistles, a language older than memory. Orcas are guided by matriarchs, passing down generations of knowledge: where to hunt, when to move, how to live in harmony with the rhythms of the sea. And here, in this fleeting underwater embrace, we witness the beginning of that lineage, a mother teaching her young what it means to belong.

Listen all day every day! 🎧🎶 Get lost in the music with the new Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones. Created in partnership with @SonyElectronics to showcase their best wireless noise canceling headphones yet. #SponsoredBySony The WH-1000XM6 were designed with optimal comfort, improved portability, and better battery life in mind for travelers and music lovers like me. Tuned to perfection with mastering engineers for ideal sound, these headphones are the ultimate upgrade! I love the easy “double tap” to start my tunes and the world’s best noise cancellation to block out all the background sounds/distractions. Check out the link in my Bio to grab a pair or learn more! 🎥 #Hyperlapse collaboration w/ @TommyLundberg. We created this orbiting match-cut effect using photos that were shot handheld and then stabilized into a smooth frame animation. I shared a look Behind the Scenes on my Story. Been so long that I couldn’t even fit every photo into this carousel 😂 I’ve been seeing this trend everywhere & knew I had to post our version 🫶🏼 Plus I feel like @taylorswift wrote ‘So High School’ for us because Matt was quite literally the footballer & I was the nerdy valedictorian, and we used to watch American Pie together at silly little teenage parties hehe

When Nicole Kidman needs to recharge, she looks to Sydney, her hometown. “Every time I return to Sydney, there’s a feeling of comfort and ease,” said @nicolekidman , who stars in the Hulu drama “Nine Perfect Strangers,” which releases its Season 2 finale on Wednesday. Although born in the U.S., Kidman was raised in Australia and began her acting career there when she was 16. Her Sydney is a city packed with natural beauty, endless vistas and a deep appreciation for art. And like anyone who loves their hometown, she had a hard time picking favorites. Swipe through for her top five favorite places and read more about them at the link in our bio. Photos by Rachel Kara Ashton.
