🪵🪨 How to Make a Forest Table from Sticks & a Rock in 3 Minutes 🪢🌲 Fast, sturdy, and super handy — here’s how to build a simple table in the woods using natural materials and just a bit of help from your gear. You’ll need: 🌿 3 (or 4) short sticks 🪢 strong rope (I use @atwoodrope — link with discount is in my Bio 😉) 🪨 a flat stone or wooden board Tie the sticks with a secure knot, spread them like a tripod, place the rock on top — and you’ve got yourself a table! Use it as a cooking surface, stool, or a cozy little camp setup. Try different stick lengths and knot positions to find your perfect height and balance. Simple. Reliable. Beautiful. Since last summer I’ve wanted to reshoot this composition with leaves on the tree in dramatic light with heavy clouds in the sky. I got the chance a couple of weeks back. Which one is your favorite? 🤔 I show the process of photographing these photos from a 1st person perspective in my latest video, so if that’s of interest check it out. And if you struggle with using moody light to your benefit definitely get my ebook on light in landscape photography. With 251 pages, minimal text and tons of examples with extended EXIF data it’s easy to read and I make sure to get to the point fast. There’s a link in my bio. Enjoy your Friday! 😁
