Nature Is Metal

Not Log For This World 📽 by @lifeon_marz_ After standing for approximately 300 years, this ancient tree finally let go A bolt of lightning generates between 10 million and 1 billion volts, unleashing a powerful electrical surge that can devastate a tree. This immense energy rapidly heats and vaporizes internal moisture, producing steam that may cause the tree to split, explode, or in this case just give up completely. Older trees, with decayed heartwood or fragile structures, are particularly susceptible to such catastrophic damage. The electrical current may also flow through roots or wet ground, creating an electrocution hazard for anyone nearby. Sometimes, in addition to a potential collapse, the strike can spark a fire, further endangering the surroundings. Standing near trees during a storm risks injury from falling debris, electric shock, or flames. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Nature Is Metal is powered by you! Call fire department they would’ve put a tree harness on it, they also could’ve read the plates if the parked vehicles and sent out an automated text warning them. This is common practice, instead this guy just recorded for an hour. JK I don’t think anything I just said exists but it sounds cool

New York Times Travel

In search of the increasingly rare, old-school joints that still cook barbecue the way it’s been made in North Carolina for centuries, the writer Ingrid Williams went to the lively college town of Greenville. She proceeded to nearly eat her weight in pulled pork, coleslaw and hush puppies. Williams wasn't just looking for any kind of barbecue, but what's known as “eastern North Carolina” style. Think whole hogs, smoked low and slow over wood, served in a peppery, vinegar-based sauce. Read about the spots Williams visited — and whether she found the barbecue she was looking for — at the link in our bio. Photos by @laurenviedallen

PENDAKI GUNUNG INDONESIA

Babak baru tragedi Juliana Marins terus berlanjut. Bahkan mereka mengancam Indonesia jika kejadian tersebut terbukti diakibatkan kelalaian Teks: indoflasfhlight.id, foto: lombokhiker

PENDAKI GUNUNG INDONESIA

Inovasi terbaru, Jalur Pendakian Semeru memang memukau. Sumber : BBTNBTS Foto : @dianisarisofia #mountnesia #semeru #gunungsemeru #pendakigunung

PENDAKI GUNUNG INDONESIA

> “Saya hanya pergi beberapa menit. Saya minta dia istirahat karena bilang lelah. Lalu saya kembali. Sumber berita: Lombok Post
